RYDE LEEDS
Leah Jones
Now a senior instructor across CYCLE, BARRE and MOVE, Leah brings performance-level energy and precision into every class. Her coaching style is motivating, challenging and supportive, designed to help clients build confidence and reach levels they didn’t know were possible.
Expect a fusion of artistry and power, high-energy, beat-driven workouts that are both demanding and rewarding, with playlists that keep you moving from start to finish.
Beyond the podium, Leah leads the RYDE team, focused on creating an exceptional studio experience, nurturing a strong community, and driving the business to new heights.
Liv Newby
Liv found her love for yoga 8 years ago, when she started her own practicing journey.
Looking for a way to create stillness in her life, yoga was the perfect way for her to connect to herself and find her flow.
After training to become a yoga instructor in Bali, Liv brings a warm, welcoming calming energy to her FLOW classes- whilst offering options, challenges and space to be still.
“FLOW and the practice of yoga has helped me to unlock so much space in my mind and body, and I would love to share this practice with you and show you that yoga can be for everybody.”
You can expect yummy flows, funky tunes and a safe space to practice – wherever you’re at in your yoga journey. 
Dan B
Dan has been a part of the RYDE family since the OG days and it was only a matter of time till he got on that podium. His passion runs deep, having been spinning for over 10 years he will jump in the saddle at any opportunity.
When those lights drop and that beat kicks in, his high energy positive vibes will leave you wanting more after every class.
His playlist is full of songs that speak to your soul and make you want to move your body. Think pop anthems, throwback’s, dance remixes, and there’s usually some Beyoncé in there too.
So if you’re in search of those endorphins and want to see some sass on the bike, grab your shoes and join him in the studio.
Lexie McPherson
Lexie professionally trained as a contemporary dance artist where her passion for yoga was ignited.
Lexie wishes to energise, inspire and enthuse playfulness during her time on the mat. Lexie enjoys exploring fluidity with power on the mat and likes to incorporate strength exercises whilst stretching the body. Lexie’s classes are friendly, open and inclusive to ALL.
Expect an energetic space to empower, explore, play and giggle.
Karina Croyston
Throughout her life, Karina always had a drive for sports and fitness, starting her early life as a gymnast. But the real passion began after a debilitating illness in 2016. Gratitude for movement is at the centre of everything she does and her love affair with the bike began in 2017. (She then found AARMY in NYC in 2020 and hasn’t looked back since #iykyk)😜
She eventually turned her passion into a career and is a personal trainer as well as a cycle instructor. For her, being on the bike is an act of pure joy and she can’t wait for you to join her!
Katie Sportelli
Coming from a dance background, Katie has always loved movement and physical activity as an outlet. As she started working in a 9-5 job back in New York, she was craving a way to find that movement again. She started taking cycling classes in 2018 and immediately fell in love with the amazing energy and music that came along with them.
After moving to Leeds in early 2022, she came to Ryde in search of the cycling classes she’d grown to love in the US. Lucky for her, she found an incredible community here and has joined as a cycle instructor. She cannot wait to party on the bike with you all!
Carly Bateman
Carly is a professional dancer and senior Barre instructor, bringing spicy, fun classes to you since 2016.
Carly takes endless amounts of pride in crafting the perfect Barre playlist for you to move to. Her sessions are packed with a variation of moves that will give you a comprehensive understanding of Barre and will leave you feeling pumped, and grateful for it!
Carly’s sessions are a safe space with body positivity and no outdated, toxic language. Self love only huns.

Rebecca McLeod
Rebecca’s class is a party on a bike. Fun, positive and uplifting, Rebecca will motivate you with her infectious energy, up-beat outlook and feel good vibes.
Her playlist is a mixture of throwbacks, sing along tunes, dance classics, and
beats you can’t help but double time to. Everything from Britney to Nirvana via Calvin Harris and RAYE.
Rebecca fell in love with indoor cycle the second she walked into her very first class. She trained as a cycle instructor in Vienna, where she lived for seven years, before moving back to the North of England and joining the fabulous community that is RYDE.
Rebecca’s classes are all about creating a welcoming and safe space for you to sweat, let go and RYDE that bike like no one‘s watching.

Georgia started lifting weights 12 years ago and never looked back!
Melissa Gray
Mel G started her journey here at Ryde in October last year as a client, where she decided to hone in on both her physical and mental well being. She couldn’t get enough and fell in love with everything we stand for!
After training professionally as a dancer in London, she moved back to her home town to fulfil her potential as Business Development Manager in the city centre of Leeds. Her sunny disposition never fails to lighten up a room, so watch this space!
Her passion for music and positive energy will leave you desperate for more! Oh, and she never fails to play banger after banger!
Molly Hick
Molly teaches MOVE at RYDE – bringing high energy and her love for strength building. She has been a personal trainer since 2021, and always had a passion for movement and strength training.
Growing up, Molly trained at Northern Ballet, before continuing dance training in London for a few years. Fitness has always been at the centre of Molly’s life – and it only seemed right that she pursued a career in instructing! 
“If you come to my class you can expect groovy tunes, sweaty sessions and will feel strong & badass when you leave (& ready to take on your day with a smile!)” 
Lois Pacitto
Lois is a qualified level 3 Pilates instructor, discovering a passion for the Pilates mat after 10 years of working as a fashion designer in London. She is a huge advocate empowering body positivity, strong self love and tuning into that mind and body connection – expect good vibes, some strong spicy combos and all round positive vibes!

Emily Griffin
Emily graduated with her Dance and Performance degree in 2019 and immediately fell in love with the fitness industry.
Since then Emily has been involved in the boutique fitness industry and building communities/events throughout Manchester.
“ I can’t wait to bring my fitness and events experience over to Ryde and create a true community where everyone feels welcome, uplifted & energised” 🤍
With over 2 years of experience teaching spin & floor barre, also expect to see Emily on the bike and at the barre for some juicy burn and feel-good tunes! 🌶️

Olivia Lake
Liv is a professional singer & actor by trade but has always been massively into fitness since being young.
After graduating from drama school she fell in love with the bike whilst working at Psycle in London. When working there she continued to train and be inspired by all the amazing instructors around her and that fed her passion to move back up north to Manchester to pursue instructing.

Rosie Martland
Are you ready to RYDE with Rosie? 🔥
Rosie discovered her passion for group exercise when she accidentally wandered into a spin class in America and realised that THIS was what all the hype was about. She quickly became completely obsessed with the feeling that group exercise gave her and decided that she wanted to help other people experience it.
Since then she has over 3 and a half years of experience teaching spin alongside a full-time job in law and has never looked back.
“When I discovered group exercise something just clicked. I can’t wait to bring the energy and community of RYDE to Manchester and to be a part of the family.
I know how hard it can be to get yourself moving before or after a long day at work but I’ll be bringing all the energy to help you get fitter, stronger and more confident (to a stunning playlist of course).”

Lexy trained at Northern Ballet and is a professionally trained dancer. After joining RYDE as a full time member of the team she is also a fully trained Barre instructor.
Lexy’s passion for Barre developed when searching for something that could combine her deep experience in the dance industry with her love for the fitness industry.
Since then Lexy’s drive to support clients in their own fitness journey has only increased. Expect all things body positivity, strengthening and the ever classic Barre burn. Determined to banish the myths of Barre, join her to get the endorphins flowing and to see what Barre’s all about!

Kennady Brim
Kennady Brim is a professional dancer and Pilates instructor trained in NYC. She got into Pilates in January 2021 and became a fully certified, 3rd generation Joseph Pilates instructor. Kennady moved to the UK from the USA in late 2021 to pursue her dance career with a company as well as Pilates. With Ryde she is taking her love of the ballet barre into the space and teaching barre classes at Manchester Ryde’s where you are guaranteed to feel the burn with every single pulse
